WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella recently made a surprising confession about herself and twin sister Nikki Bella getting into the ring. The Bella Twins last appeared on WWE programming on the January 26 edition of Monday Night RAW.
Nikki Bella made her return to the squared circle in the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble Match. However, it was only after the 20 Woman Battle Royal at WWE Evolution that she started making regular in-ring appearances. Brie Bella, on the other hand, returned to the Stamford-based promotion earlier this year to enter the Women's Royal Rumble Match.
Speaking in an interview with Access Hollywood, Brie disclosed how she feels every time she and Nikki Bella enter the squared circle. In a surprising response, the 42-year-old noted that it felt repetitive, comparing the experience to "Groundhog Day."
"My gosh, so good. It feels like home," Bella said. "Every time we step in, even though it's been forever, But every time we step in, it's like Groundhog Day. I'm like, wait, we just like did this, right?" [H/T: Fightful]
Nikki Bella and Brie Bella reveal the real reason behind their absence from WWE
After competing in the Women's Royal Rumble Match, The Bella Twins showed up on the following episode of Monday Night RAW. The two delivered a heartwarming promo, expressing their desire to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. However, they have been absent ever since.
In a recent Instagram post promoting The Nikki & Brie Show, the twin sisters disclosed the real reason behind their absence. The caption revealed that they were dealing with food poisoning and burnout.
"After a few wild weeks (hello food poisoning + burnout), it's just Nikki & Brie on the mics getting real about recovery, listening to your body, and accepting that those 20-year-old bounce-back days are officially over. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚"
It will be interesting to see when Nikki Bella and Brie Bella make their return to Monday Night RAW and if they can get their hands on the Women's Tag Team Championship.
